The continued growth of wireless and cellular data traffic relies heavily on light waves. Microwave photonics is the field of technology that is dedicated to the distribution and processing of electrical information signals using optical means. Dear Students,

We hope you are doing well and were able to enjoy the holiday, despite the tensions and worries that mark our current reality. The last few days have been distressing for all of us, Jews and Arabs, religious and secular Israelis. We are all coping with a complex security threat from without and violence from within. And we must all contribute to the national effort to curb this dangerous escalation.
