Innovative Robot Vacuum for Solar Panels Will Increase Energy Output

An innovative robot vacuum designed to autonomously clean solar panels recently started operating at Bar-Ilan University. The robot vacuum is set to increase the panels' energy output by 20%, according to Bar-Ilan's VP of Operations and Logistics, Ofer Shragay.

Outstanding Lecturers of 2021-2022 Academic Year

Scientific breakthroughs have led to innovative therapies, such as biological therapy, which is based on the modification of genes that affect the immune system's response to tumors. But even in this area, there is room for significant improvement. "Machine learning will allow us to find dozens, if not hundreds, of other genes of this type that are currently hidden," says Dr. Ofir Lindenbaum of the Faculty of Engineering.

On June 6-8, the Department of English Literature and Linguistics is hosting a conference on the topic of: "Typical and Atypical Arabic Language Development in Diglossic and Bilingual Contexts: Assessment and Intervention."

The conference, supported by the Israel Science Foundation, will be conducted in a hybrid format. Lectures will take place in person at the Beck Auditorium (Bldg. 410) and on Zoom.

The event is sponsored by the European Corporate Governance Research Foundation and the Raymond Ackerman Family Chair in Israeli Corporate Governance at Bar-Ilan University.
