Meet Tai Shoshani

She’s pursuing her LLB at Bar-Ilan University as part of the Israel Defense Forces’ selective “Atudah” (Academic Reserve) program. Bright, highly motivated and now religiously observant, she is combining her academic training with Torah studies. Meet Tai Shoshani, 20, of Ramat Gan, who’s enrolled in her third year at BIU’s Faculty of Law and has been enriching her Jewish knowledge at the Midrasha on campus.

Meet Gal Rozenberg

He served in the IDF Combat Engineering Corps, volunteered for eight months in Nepal with youth and farmers, and is now completing his MSc in the Department of Geography and Environment at Bar-Ilan University. Meet Gal Rozenberg, 32, who resides on a moshav near Haifa, has a passion for nature, and has just completed his MSc research thesis on weed management in agricultural systems – assessing agricultural intensity to optimize the use of tools, such as herbicides, without causing undue harm to the environment.

Meet Bosmat Meyron

“Femme de mots, de cultures et de langues” – She’s a woman of words, cultures and languages. Meet Bosmat Meyron, a graduate student in the Department of French Culture at Bar-Ilan University. She teaches and studies, and hopes to do so “toujours” – always.

Meet Shira Cohen

Meet undergraduate Shira Cohen, 26, of Ferrara, Italy, who is majoring in Chinese and Asian Studies at Bar-Ilan University. Immigrating to Israel in 2019, Shira attended Ulpan to improve her Hebrew skills before enrolling at BIU. She is pleased that the university granted her credits for academic courses that she took in Italy, so that she can complete her BA studies in 2021.
