Lectures in English during BIU Open Days
Four lectures about literature or about linguistics were offered in English during BIU’s Virtual Open Days on June 3-4
The following lectures were offered in English during Bar-Ilan University’s Virtual Open Days:
"Reading in a Second Language (L2): The Role of L1" – lecture by Prof. Elinor Saiegh-Haddad (Linguistics), Thursday, June 3, from 11 am -12 pm
“The Lyric Embodied, the lyric unbound: Things you can do with poetry while you live in your body" – lecture by Prof. Marcela Sulak (English Literature), Thursday, June 3, from 1 -2 pm
"Monolingual and Bilingual Sentence Processing” – lecture by Dr. Natalia Meir (Linguistics), Thursday, June 3, from 2 - 4 pm
“Changes in Family Language Policy following COVID 19” – lecture by Prof. Sharon Armon-Lotem (Linguistics), Friday, June 4, from 11 am – 12 pm
Prospective students were also able to “attend” Hebrew lectures and meetings to learn more about diverse academic programs at Bar-Ilan University.
The BIU Virtual Open Days were held on Thursday, June 3, and on Friday, June 4.
