Hotline for Refugees and their Families
Psychology faculty and students operate hotline on Zoom for emotional support for war refugees and their relatives
Faculty members and graduate students from BIU’s Department of Psychology are volunteering on a hotline opened in the department following the outbreak of war in the Ukraine. The hotline seeks to provide psychological support services to refugees, and especially their families who are in Israel, who feel distressed because of the situation. The hotline will offer support and referrals to other relevant parties if necessary.
To receive support and a personal response in Hebrew and English, the Zoom hotline is accessible at the following times:
Sundays 18:00-21:00
Mondays 9: 00 -12:00, 18:00-20:00
Tuesdays 9:00 – 12:00, 18:00-20:00
Wednesdays 9:00-12:00, 18:00-21:00
Thursdays 9:00-12:00, 8:00-20:00
Service in the Russian language is provided:
Sundays 18:00-20:00
Mondays 11:00-12:00, 19:00-20:00
