More than 20,000 students study at Bar-Ilan University, and they are taught by approximately 4,000 lecturers in some 7,000 courses. 
The Teaching and Learning Division is responsible for managing and developing the learning experience on campus and addressing the many challenges and opportunities posed by the digital revolution.

The Division focuses on empowering the lectures, enhancing technologies and leading the academic development of the students.

The Division is part of the Vice Provost's Office and it leads several innovative initiatives, including online courses and degrees; data-based teaching; lecturers training; personalized learning; administering the learning management platform (Moodle); developing partnerships; and more.

In addition to his role as CLO (Chief Learning Officer), Yuval Shraibman is a lecturer in the Faculty of Education in the field of educational innovation.

Shraibman joined Bar-Ilan University after founding and leading the Innovative Learning Center at Tel-Aviv University (TAU Online). Under Shraibman's guidance, the Center led many initiatives, including Minducate, a research center for neuroscience and learning, and "Online Academic High School," a collaborative initiative with the Education Ministry to provide academic education to students from low social-economical municipalities.

In addition, Shraibman developed online courses that won international awards. He also created the first online degree in Israel, and he co-founded the annual start-up conference for educational technology (ed-tech).

Shraibman previously served as a senior advisor to the President of Tel-Aviv University and as a senior advisor to the Director of Salary and Employment Agreements in the Ministry of Finance.

Shraibman holds a BA in economics and philosophy from Hebrew University and an MA in public policy from Tel-Aviv University. He is also an alumnus of the "Maoz" and "Digital Leaders" leadership programs.
