Transportation, Parking and Internal Shuttling Service
Bar-Ilan University is located on the outskirts of Ramat Gan and Bnei Brak, on the borders of Givat Shmuel and Kiryat Ono. Thanks to its central location, Bar-Ilan can be reached from many places around the country, easily accessible by both public transportation and private vehicles. We are also happy to see that many students have chosen to live close to the university and make their way to campus on foot or by bicycle. During the day, there is an active shuttle service that circles the campus.
Public Transportation
Dozens of bus lines stop at the campus gates. It is recommended to stay up to date on line numbers and schedules using the relevant websites and mobile apps.

Parking
There are four parking lots located around the university:
- New - Yehudit parking lot (near Wohl Center).
- Music parking lot - on Jabotinsky Street, Givat Shmuel, behind the Music Building (1005).
- Sport parking lot - on Max veAnna Webb Street, near Gate 10 (Sports), across from the Wohl Center.
- The Wohl Center parking lot.
The parking lot by the Economics Building (504) has closed.
Discounted Parking for Students
For guests, 20 ILS for the entire day. For BIU Student Association members (who pay welfare fees), 10 ILS for the entire day.
Campus Gates
Gate 1 - Main Gate for vehicles (employees only). Located on Max ve-Anna Webb Street, in front of the Ramat Ilan Shopping Center, open 24 hours.
Gate 2 - designed for pedestrians, on Max ve-Anna Webb Street near Gate 1, open from 6:30 to 22:00 on weekdays and from 6:30 to 14:00 on Fridays and holidays.
Gate 3 - closed, no passage.
Gate 5 - on Max ve-Anna Webb Street in front of Wohl Center, intended for pedestrians only, open from 6:30 to 20:00 on weekdays and from 6:30 to 14:00 on Fridays and holidays.
Gate 10 - designed for vehicles and pedestrians, on Max ve-Anna Webb Street near Dahan Park, the dormitory complex and the Faculty of Engineering buildings. Open from 6:00 to 18:00 on weekdays and from 6:00 to 14:00 on Fridays and holidays.
Gate 15 - designed for pedestrians, on Jabotinsky Street near the student dormitories. Open Sunday-Thursday from 7:30 AM to midnight and on Friday from 7:30 AM until midnight on Saturday night.
Gate 20 - designed for pedestrians, located on Jabotinsky Street between the Music Building (1005) and the Engineering Building (1100), open from 6:30 to 14:00 on weekdays, Sundays and holidays. This gate is intended for vehicles leaving only until 18:00 on weekdays.
Gate 25 - intended for pedestrians, located on Herzog Street in front of the "Cube" association building (Building 510) and Emunah daycare (Building 802). Intended for pedestrians, open from 6:30 to 18:00 on weekdays and from 6:30 to 13:00 on Fridays and holidays.
Gate 30 - intended for pedestrians, located on Road 4 Geha, in front of the bridge intended for pedestrians coming from Bnei Brak and the Ramat Amidar neighborhood in Ramat Gan. Open from 6:30 to midnight on weekdays, from 6:30 to 14:00 on Fridays and on the eve of holidays and from Saturday to midnight on Saturdays.
Gate 40 - intended for pedestrians, located on Maccabit Road 471. Open from 6:30 to 18:00 on weekdays and from 6:30 to 12:00 on Fridays and holidays.
Campus Shuttles
There is an electric shuttle service within the campus – free of charge - including a special vehicle accessible to people with disabilities. Shuttle frequency is between 5-7 minutes. The shuttle schedule is Sunday-Thursday from 07:30 to 19:30 and Friday from 07:30 to 12:00.
** Those entering at pedestrian Gate 10 should access shuttle station no. 0, located near Building 1105.
** Station 16 - only for passenger drop off
** The last shuttle leaves the Engineering Complex (station no. 0), a quarter of an hour before the end of the service.
** Accessible shuttle service times: 9:40, 11:40, 13:40, 15:40, 17:40, 19:40.
** Shuttles are not in operation on holidays and during the annual vacation.
